Please check your kiddo's folder today for their report card. The envelope should be signed by a parent and returned to school to use next trimester.
This week in math we finished up unit 4 and began a new unit focused on geometry. A parent information page on the new unit is coming home today. During the last unit the kids did a great job of practicing how to add double digit numbers using the partial sums method - they were all pretty amazed with themselves at what they could accomplish. :)
Our field trip today went great. The class learned a great deal about life in the 1800s including the fact that houses lacked the heat we enjoy today - brrr! I'll post some pics from our trip on the blog soon.
